In this video, my brother and I, along with four good friends, set off on an adventure to Isle Royale. On this journey we navigate around Blakes point, which has some of the roughest waters we've ever canoed on, with 5 foot swells. We hike to the northern most point of Isle Royale to the fire tower, and meet up with a gentleman who we've been traveling alongside for a portion of the trip. Him and his 2 friends were navigating Blakes point when his friends ended up tipping their boat and lost everything.

We enjoyed a few days at Merrit Lane meeting our new friend Ray and getting the opportunity to catch a Laker, only to not land it due to not having net. After Merrit we moved on towards rock harbor to conclude our trip. Only to end it properly with a few brews and some burgers and pizza.

The island is filled with wildlife and so much beauty. We are already planning another trip for next year!
