In this video I show you how to upgrade a table saw from 110V to 220V. It's really easy to do on most table saws. All it takes is reconnecting a few wires and changing the plug. Be sure to read the manual for your specific table saw because the wiring will most likely be different.

After upgrading, the blade starts up faster and has more power at startup. After that, it's more or less the same as when on 110V.

A few additional advantages:
it's no longer on my lighting circuit, so I'm not left in total darkness when I trip a circuit breaker
the lights don't temporarily dim when I start up the saw
I'll likely never trip a circuit breaker with 220V because I'm running at half the current compared with 110V
