New Hampshire's renowned Pemi Loop consists of a roughly 31 mile traverse, 10,000~ feet elevation gain, covering eight wide-open summits on the AMC list of NH four-thousand footers. We decided to start our single-effort push with a midnight departure from the Lincoln Woods parking lot on September 26, 2020.
The Pemi offers spectacular views of the Pemigewasset Wilderness in all seasons, but undertaking this hike in late September yields some incredible foliage. Given the global pandemic, we each took covid tests prior.
