KeyFax, initiated in 1984 by Keycom Electronic Publishing, was a collaborative venture between Field Enterprises, Honeywell Information Systems, and Centel to create an online service. The service, designed to compete with CompuServe, Prodigy, and AOL, was intended for a custom terminal and offered PC emulators for various platforms.
