I was the only one of our group to draw for the 1st Season Elk Rifle Hunt. I had the luxury of one of my hunting partners to come out and join for a couple of days to kick the season off. After that, I was completely on my own. I put on a good stalk on one bull elk and was able to get a shot off. Unfortunately, I rushed the shot a bit and shot over the bull.

This video cronicles my journey on a somewhat solo elk hunt in the high country. After looking back at the footage, I see where I can improve for upcoming elk hunts, but would love your input!
