时 の 流 れ に 身 を ま か せ, (Toki no Nagare ni Mi wo Makase ) "Yielding To The Flow Of Time" was Teresa Teng's 16th single song. Released on February 21, 1986 from Tarus Records (now Universal Music) and was the most popular song in Japan in 1986. This Japanese single was created by Japanese musicians, lyrics by Toyohisa Araki, composition by Takashi Miki, and ranked first in the Japanese cable list for half a year, This was the third time that the Japanese cable list had set a new record. In October, "时 の 流 れ に 身 を ま か せ" won the all-Japan composition award, in December, Teresa Teng won the third all-Japan cable broadcast award and the Japanese cable award double title with "时 の 流 れ に 身 を ま か せ". Following 1984's "つ ぐ な い" and 1985's "Mistress", it hit the record of "double award three consecutive titles". At the end of December, it was awarded the gold prize of the Japan Record Awards. On December 31st, the song was once again included in the "37th Red and White Songs Battle" with great popularity. Teresa Teng was the only singer who had achieved the Grand Prix at the same time for the 3rd consecutive Grand Prix of the East and West Wire Awards in Japanese music. It was the only song that was ranked in the top 10 for the second consecutive year in the copyright royalty distribution amount by song (domestic works) announced by the Japan Music Copyright Association (JASRAC) in 1986 and 1987

Its Mandarin version named "I Only Care About You" (Chinese: 我只在乎你; pinyin: Wǒ zhǐ zàihū nǐ) became popular in mainland China after the Cultural Revolution. The song is well known in Asia and has been covered by musicians into the 21st century in Taipei and Kuala Lumpur. In a 2010 survey conducted by the Teresa Teng Foundation to determine Teng's most popular hits, "I Only Care About You" received the second-most votes.
