Golden axe is a beat'em up game released by Virgin Games in 1990, for the Amstrad computer.

A terrible scourge has ravaged the land of Yuria. The evil reptilian creature Death Adder has found the Golden Axe, the magical emblem of the land, and plans to murder the royal family unless the people of Yuria submit to his will.

The king's armies have long been ravaged in fierce and bloody battles. But an alliance of three warriors from the farthest corners of this land can accomplish the impossible.

Ax-Battler, a barbarian from the distant lands of Yuria; Gilius-Thunderhead, A dwarf from the Wolud mines; and Tyris-Flare, queen of the Amazon warriors, will not rest until they hear the screams of agony from Death Adder.
