লাল, নীল, হলুদ, সবুজ, গোলাপি বেগুনি.. পৃথিবীর চারিদিকে এতো রং. . . এতো বৈচিত্র ! কল্পনায় হারিয়ে যায় আমার মন. . . ভাবতে থাকে আমার মাঝে লুকিয়ে থাকা রঙিন প্রজাপতিটির কথা, যেটি ছুঁয়ে দেখতে চায়, পৃথিবীর সব রং, ডানা মেলতে চায় ওই নীল আকাশে । হয়তো বা হারাতে চায় লাল সূর্যের আভায়, অথবা রাঙা হয়ে ফুটতে চায় ঠোঁটে আর কপোলে! সাথে কনকের রিমিঝিমি গান. . . আর নাকে উজ্জ্বল এক শিশিরবিন্দুর কণা আর তাতে পূর্ণতাদেয় লাল বেনারসির ছোঁয়া!

কিন্তু না! এ কি ! এ তো কল্পনা নয় . . এ এক বিভীষিকা! যার মোহে আমাকে হতে হবে সমাজচ্যুত! অথবা পাগল অথবা দেশদ্রোহী! হতে হবে সত্ত্বা ছাড়া এক অতৃপ্ত আত্মা
