Have you ever wanted to redesign the bus system in your city? How about tackling a bus system in a major city like New York, Paris, or London? If so, I think you might be interested in City Bus Manager, which is powered by OpenStreetMap data, which allows you to build the system of your dreams in a real city!

City Bus Manager is a transport tycoon game in which you are able to start a new bus company from scratch and grow it into an absolute powerhouse. It allows you to fully design your own bus depot, as well as design your routes based on real-world planning considerations.

Most impressively, this game was put together by three brothers in Germany! And it has Steam workshop support, so there is a ton of content out there for it already.

In this video, I'll show you how the game works by designing a bus route here in Madison, Wisconsin. I'll try to recreate part of the Bus Rapid Transit Line and set the company up to thrive in the future. We'll continue this build on stream on October 3rd, 2024 on both Twitch and YouTube.
