Second place behind overall winner Thierry Neuville was enough for Finn Kalle Rovanperä to secure the decisive points for winning the title one race before the end of the season. In third place, Ott Tänak climbed onto the winner's podium in Passau, Germany, which, as the location of the service park, had become the center of the rally world for four days. After the brilliant start on the Hradcany in Prague, the teams fought an exciting battle over 310 full-throttle kilometers in front of 125,000 enthusiastic spectators throughout the weekend.
