We run a sustainable off-grid Farm and a big part of that farm is our livestock, which is pretty non-traditional.

For example we have Nigerian dwarf Dairy goats to produce all of our milk for our dairy products. These girls are small, don't take up a lot of space, and don't eat a lot of food, yet they produce a tremendous amount of milk each day.

Because we look for sustainable ways to run our farm, we don't buy a significant amount of feed for animals, and they live off the land just like we do. Here our goats are free-ranging in the woods.

Because every predator that lives in the Appalachian Mountains also lives here, the goats don't go outside of their fenced in area without my accompaniment.

But in terms of time, effort, and expense on my part, a half an hour out in the woods with them each day gives them plenty of feed, and since they can feed themselves, I can use the time productively to answer emails and work on videos like this one.
