This lecture shows how the three major distributions in statistical physics -- Boltzmann, Fermi-Dirac, and Bose-Einstein -- can all be viewed as a simple consequence of entropy maximization, and there is nothing intrinsically "quantum" about any of them.
I also discuss a simple cartoon way of thinking conceptually about the concept of chemical potential.
