The Kyushu Shinkansen Western Kyushu Route, a.k.a. the Nagasaki Shinkansen plans to open in the fall, 2022.
*When I made this video, the Nagasaki Shinkansen was expected to open by the spring of 2023. I mentioned it many times in this video. But JR Kyushu announced on September 25th, 2020 that this Shinkansen will open in the fall, 2022.

The travel time will be faster but it will be a bit inconvenient. I explained the reason in this video:
