I planted three tiny dormant bluebell roots 4 years ago and they've grown into a lovely patch of early blooming delight. The pollinators love them and the intense blue is beautiful set against their beautiful foliage. As Spring ephemerals they bloom in early Spring then die back before summer and are dormant until they sprout to bloom again the next year.
