Using cloud-based simulation, engineers can obtain a detailed overview of the air circulation within a building or space. This allows them to predict thermal comfort, improve energy efficiency and performance, and optimize indoor air quality for HVAC system designs.

Creating a comfortable environment involves multiple aspects, such as the provision of sufficient fresh air volume, keeping a stable temperature, or minimizing draft exposure. Using numerical simulations, you can study all these effects in detail. Different air conditioning setups can be analyzed, which allows for minimizing draft perception. In addition, stable temperature conditions can be ensured, taking into account heating and cooling effects arising from different sources. In the example of an office design which will be analyzed in this free webinar, heat sources include the presence of personnel, devices, or lamps, whereas the loss of heat is due to windows, ventilation, and more.
