With leadership from Imperial College London and power systems experts from around the world, Women in PST and the G-PST are publishing in-depth materials for 4 cutting-edge power system technical topics aligned with the G-PST Inaugural Teaching Agenda:

1. Declining System Inertia and Dynamics Reserve Requirements, taught by Julia Matevosyan, Energy Systems Integration Group
2. Power System Stability with 100% Inverter-Based Resources (IBR), taught by Claudia Rahmann, University of Chile
3. Impact of Electric Vehicles on Power Systems, taught by Edvina Uzunovic, Worcester Polytechnic Institute
4. Network Planning and Pricing Across Transmission and Distribution Systems, taught by Furong Li, University of Bath

Teaching materials, including pre-recorded lectures and practical assignments, can be used for graduate-level student teaching, technical professional training, or self-upskilling. Women in PST and the G-PST Consortium are making these materials available at no cost to universities, instructors, and practitioners around the world. Technical materials will be accompanied by introductory materials on gender equality and women’s empowerment, as well as free-to-use media materials that highlight women experts and their journeys to leadership in power system operations.

This webinar recording contains a panel-style Q&A to learn more about these technical teaching materials and how your university or organization can use them to train the next generation of diverse power sector professionals.
