In Spanish, 'hoja' (leaf) is a feminine word, so the Spanish color names of red and yellow end with 'a' and not with 'o.' So, you'll say 'hoja roja' (red leaf). If we refer to leaves (plural), we add the 's': 'hojas rojas' (red leaves) and 'hojas amarillas' (yellow leaves).

The Spanish color "marrón" (brown) is one of the words ending in "ón" that typically adds "es" in the plural form. So, in the plural, you would say "marrones." For example, "la hola marrón" (the brown leaf) becomes "las hojas marrones" (the brown leaves).
