Maito Gai or as he is also known, Might Guy, is one of the most powerful characters in all Naruto Shippuden by far.

Maito Gai did not start with that strength, the reality is that he was a quiet, shy boy and with many insecurities, mainly because of the mockery made by his companions in Konoha since he could not use Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, two key elements for the Ninjas, However, he could use Taijutsu which is hand-to-hand fight and largely thanks to his father, Maito Dai or Might Duy, he dedicated his entire life to the training of this art to be able to be a real ninja like his father.

The funny thing is that Maito Gai does not have any kind of genetic blessing, Kekkei Genkai or a Bijuu, this character built his strength based on pure training and is for me the strongest in the entire Naruto manga.

Gai was not the protagonist, much less, rather he went unnoticed in large part due to his eternal rival Kakashi Hatake who took all the limelight, but perhaps that is why when he was the protagonist he was a real badass in this manga. That´s the reason why today we dedicate a video to the green beast of Konoha: History and Evolution of Maito Gai.
