In this painting video we have a look at how to paint a super loose modern landscape with a dramatic sky and rain clouds. I'm using acrylics and painting on a 40x40 cm pre-gessoed canvas.

If you want to paint a loosely painted painting you also have to start loose. This is one of the most important factors in a loose painting style. Through the video I'll share tips and show you exactly what you can do to loosen up your painting style and paint in a freer and more abstract painting way.

Most importantly learn to let go of tight control and instead learn to let the paint flow and mingle
Use brushes, rags and paper towel to manipulate the paint. Be as bold as you can and remember it's only paint.
