An Lemmens follows and interviews ''Tom Barman'' during their tour (An Tour). Thomas Andrew Barman, born on January 1, 1972, is a Belgian musician, film director, and photographer. He has Norwegian ancestry on his father's side and initially pursued film studies at Sint-Lukas film school in Brussels, but left to focus on music.

In 1989, Barman founded the rock band dEUS in Antwerp. The band released several notable albums, including Vantage Point (2008), Keep You Close (2011), and Following Sea (2012). In 2019, dEUS celebrated the 20th anniversary of their album The Ideal Crash with a European tour, during which a documentary titled Confessions to dEUS was produced.

Barman also explored other musical ventures. In 2004, he released The Body Gave You Everything with Magnus, a dance project with CJ Bolland. He co-founded the jazz band TaxiWars in 2014, releasing multiple albums and performing at major jazz festivals.

While primarily focused on music, Barman directed music videos for dEUS and other Belgian artists. He directed a short film, Turnpike, in 1996 and his first feature film, Any Way the Wind Blows, in 2003. Barman also pursued photography, exhibiting his work in solo exhibitions from 2019 onwards and publishing a photo book in 2020.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Barman and dEUS worked on a new album, How to replace it, released in February 2023. He also wrote a screenplay for a new film and provided the cover image for the album. The band's European tour began in March 2023.
