City Club of Portland and the League of Women Voters of Portland recently hosted an educational workshop on Ranked Choice Voting, the new voting system that will be used starting in November 2024 to elect Portland's Mayor, Auditor, and all 12 City Councilors for the city's four new geographic districts. Attendees learned from the pros about the ins and outs of ranked choice voting, how to mark their ballots, and received a primer on vote tabulation. The event also featured a live mock election for hands-on experience.
