Welcome to Part 4 of my Scotland 2024 Wildlife Photography Tour! In this episode, we're still exploring the stunning Isle of Lewis, where the natural beauty continues to amaze.

Our day begins with an unforgettable encounter with a majestic female **Hen Harrier**. In the crisp morning air, I find myself face to face with this elusive bird of prey. Watch as I capture some incredible close-up shots of her in action, showcasing her graceful flight and powerful hunting techniques. This was a rare and breathtaking moment that every wildlife photographer dreams of!

In the afternoon, I venture down to one of Lewis's breathtaking **white sandy beaches**. Surrounded by the raw beauty of the Atlantic coast, I photograph a variety of **shorebirds**, including sandpipers, plovers, and oystercatchers, as they feed along the shoreline. The contrast of the vibrant birdlife against the serene, white sand and turquoise waters made for some epic compositions. All made that little bit easier thanks to the groundpod.
