Throwback to when the unseeded Bianca Andreescu captured her second career WTA title at the 2019 Rogers Cup in Toronto!

The 19-year-old was playing her first event in over two months due to a shoulder injury, and became the first home champion at the tournament since Faye Urban in 1969.

Andreescu defeated Eugenie Bouchard, Daria Kasatkina, Kiki Bertens, Karolina Pliskova, and Sofia Kenin along the way to the final, in which Serena Williams was forced to retire through injury.
