This is our third visit to Mt. Otowa in Sakurai City, Nara Prefecture.
This time, we will try again to climb the three mountains of Otowa that I could not climb last time.
After traversing the mountains, we would like to visit Otowa Kannonji Temple, which is famous on NHK for its "Diary of a Nun's Abundant Kitchen" (Diary of a Buddhist Priestess).
As the name suggests, Otowa Sanzan refers to a traverse course of three mountains: Otowa, Kyogatsuka, and Kumagatake.
It takes about 3 hours for an adult climber and 5 hours for a slower climber.
But will Nui and I, who have been walking in low mountains a lot lately, be able to complete the course in one piece?
The time limit is 4:30 p.m., the end of the Onna Kannonji temple visit!
