Sono sempre stato affascinato dai teschi messicani. Quale migliore occasione di realizzarne uno. In questo video ho realizzato un Teschio Messicano incidendo un vero teschio ( in osso ) di maiale.
Questo teschio messicano ( diy - fai da te ) è un regalo per un mio grande amico, proprietario di un negozio di articoli per tatuatori. Il disegno che ho inciso sul teschio è giusto il Logo del negozio. Ho iniziato colorando in teschio di arancione con dell'attasso per legno a base d'acqua. Poi ho riportato con una matita il disegno sul teschio di maiale adattandolo alla diversa fisionomia.
Per esporre il teschio ho realizzato una base in legno rifinita con della gommalacca.

Hi everyone! I've always been fascinated by Calaveras.
What better opportunity to make one! In this video I've made a Carved Sugar Skull out of a Pig Skull, as a gift to a big friend of mine for his tattoo supply shop, reproducing the shop logo. First i've stained the pig Skull with an orange water based stain, than i've adapded their logo design to the different Skull physiognomy with a pencil, than i've remarked the lines with a black marker to help me follow the lines during the Skull Carving.
To display the Carved Sugar Skull 'ive made a wooden base finishing it with shellac.
Before this attempt, i've never tried any skull art or Skull carving technique in general.
