Malenia, Blade of Miquella. Wow... what a fight. She heals upon hitting the player, and with my health, one big hit and I die. That being said, it was one of the best fights in any fromsoft game, in my opinion!

The strategy used was simple. Run away, and hit her with lightning spears. The challenge in phase one was the initial confrontation, where I had to get at least 2 hits in with melee to guarantee I have enough fp to finish her off, allowing for some mistakes, and dodging the waterfowl dance. Phase two, she's a lot more aggressive, which makes running away a pain. She's also much stronger, so the smallest mistake would mean my defeat.
Took me a few tries, but once she'd fallen, the satisfaction was immense!
