In 2008, Uncharted almost became a movie. The plot was set to follow the events of Drake's Fortune, following Nathan Drake, Elena Fisher, and Victor "Sully" Sullivan in their quest to find El Dorado.

This is the first in many attempts of Uncharted coming to the big screen. Future attempts are a tangled web involving the likes of David O. Russell, Nathan Fillion, and Joe Carnahan. This first draft is the only version of the script to directly adapt one of the games.

So today, we'll walk through the development, plot and evolution of the original plans for the Uncharted movie.
