During my last trip to New York City I finally got to go into the St. Patrick's Cathedral. I had been there quite a few times, but never actually gone inside and to my surprise it is a massive cathedral. This Neo Gothic styled cathedral is beautifully decorated. Even if you aren't religious, it is a NYC landmark and worth the visit, it's also free. I would recommend checking out the mass schedule prior and plan your visit in between the mass so you can walk through all the areas of the church.
