Being a semi-local of Phuket, normally we would have no urge to go on general Phuket sight-seeing tours. However, this time we made an exception: we said yes to a sight-seeing tour...on a helicopter!!!

There are a few tour options and we went for the "Phuket Scenic" tour with a 30-min flight time. The tour started from the North of Phuket (where we took off) and went all the way down the East Coast of the island. Once we got to the South of the island, we went around Promthep Cape and made our way back up to our starting point.
