When Truffles becomes sick, Mung, Chowder, and Shnitzel are left in charge of the company's money box. However, they become tempted by the large amount of money and go on a huge shopping spree, leaving no money left in the box. The gang must now find a way stop Truffles from noticing the missing money--as soon as they receive enough money to continue animating the show, anyway.

Young Chowder dreams of becoming a chef someday. He works as an apprentice to famous chef Mung Daal who is always offering Chowder advice on love and cooking. Panini also works in the kitchen and thinks Chowder is her boyfriend, while Shnitzel is a rock monster who doesn't think much of Chowder and his smelly best friend Kimchi the stinky cloud.
