Hi Everyone,

In this video, I'm going to show you how to build a pool steps for your above ground pool using cinder blocks and 4x6 lumber in 2 simple steps (just cut the lumber and stack the cinder blocks)

I'm building a 3-step for me and my family to get on the pool deck easily, but if you want to build it the entire way up to the pool like some of the examples I showed in the video you would need to build it up to a 5-step.

All we are doing is cut the Lumber for the steps and everything is just stacked on so you wont need much tools.

You can use a variety of materials but if you want to build it the way I did it, then check out the material list below.

Material List (3-steps)
12 (8X8x16) Standard Cored Concrete Blocks From Lowes
3 (4X6X8) Douglas Fir Lumber - Each cut in half

Material List (5-steps)
30 (8X8X16) Standard Cored Concrete Blocks From Lowes
5 (4X6X8) Douglas Fir Lumber - Each cut in half

The stairs felt very solid, did not move at all when walking up and down but for a more permanent install you can add concrete glue
