(WHAM-TV) -- It was 50 days after the confetti flew in Los Angeles on the stage of Dancing With The Stars where pro-dancer Alan Bersten and his partner Hannah Brown won season 28 of the hit ABC show.

Michael Schwartz met with Bersten when the 'Dancing With The Stars: LIVE!' tour was here in Rochester.


Bersten started dancing at the age of seven and said he used to watch ABC's hit show Dancing With The Stars when he was growing up. Since then he's taken his passion, and years of training, in Latin and ballroom dancing to appear on Dancing With The Stars for eight seasons, and prior to that So You Think You Can Dance.

Bersten, a Minnesota native, says he owes it all to the fans and looks forward to meeting many at the touring national show. At 25-years-old he said he's been thankful to be enjoying this incredible ride of being able to do what he loves.
