Krangsure waterfall is one of the most prominent and famous waterfalls of Meghalaya .It is in Umlarem, Located in West jaintia hills.
It is the 90 kilometer drive to Krangsuri from shillong via the NH6 and NH206.
The waterfall is open from 9 AM to 5 PM everyday. The best time to visit krangsuri waterfall is between October and April, when the weather is pleasant, and the water level is optimal.
From the base point, there is a 20 minute track to reach the waterfalls.
One can take a dip in the fall. Life jackets are available which costs 100Rs. The water is so clear and pristine blue. The waterfall is exactly as seen in the pictures and videos. The ethereal blue natural pool is the one of a kind. It cascades down from a height of about 40 feet, into a crystal clear blue pool.
Do experience the water goodness.The water is pretty cool cold. But once you are in it, you just are in a different world.
Entry fee is 50INR. /head.
There are washrooms and changing rooms also.The caretaker charges ₹10 for each use.
