A rare view of Largs from the RFA Largs Bay which arrived to celebrate the start of the 30th Largs Viking Festival 2010.
RFA Largs Bay (L3006) is a Bay class landing ship dock of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA), built by Swan Hunter in Wallsend, Tyne and Wear. She is named for Largs Bay in Ayrshire, Scotland.
This event hosted by Commanding Officer Captain Trevor Isles for local sponsors, politicians and organisers of the Largs Viking Festival.
