With the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo approaching,
the city and its metropolitan area are undergoing redevelopment.
Small live music venues in the area are also being affected.
With the inevitable renovations and closings, there is now a major shortage of venues.

This feature aims to document and profile the live venues that underpin Japan's music scene,
and the neighborhoods where these venues are found.

In part one, we introduce LIVE HOUSE "FEVER," located
within walking distance of Shimokitazawa in Shindaita, an area
some say is "nothing but ramen and #7 Ring Road（Kannana-dori）”.
