Psychotherapy and Well Being Services! My name is Sandra Jay Russell, and I work as a U.K.C.P. registered Psychotherapist and a Well Being Consultant. I’m based in Dorset, and my clients are spread across the UK, with much of my consultation work now conducted online1.

Here’s what you can expect from my services:

Psychotherapy for Individuals: In this area, we explore your emotions and reactions in the present by making sense of your past experiences. Together, we unravel the ball of string to discover what’s needed for you to move forward.

Couples Therapy: We delve into the dynamics at play in your relationship. Sometimes, I find that using my Healthy Self model can be a useful aid in this process.

Well Being Services: Whether for individuals or couples, I use the Healthy Self model as a structure for developing insights and awareness of triggers. From there, we work on creating a wealth of coping strategies to help you move forward.

Women’s Personal Development Group: This group meets for a weekend every 6 months, with follow-up Zoom sessions and monthly support videos.

My philosophy centers around collaborative work with my clients. I believe that we all have the capacity to find our own answers, but sometimes our history, circumstances, or personal capacity hinder us from accessing this inner wisdom. Together, we’ll make sense of things and discover what’s needed for your growth and well-being.

Over my 30 years in the field of human psychology, I’ve learned from various therapeutic models. However, I found many of them limiting, so I decided to develop my own: the Healthy Self model. This educational tool empowers people to make changes and improve their lives in a way that resonates personally with them.
