When you buy new football boots, you probably consider a bunch of different things, many of those decisions being influenced by the information provided by the big brands who actually make the boots. Given that playing on both natural and artificial grass is such a common thing these days, than it would only make sense to have a pair of boots that is suited for use on both playing surfaces, which why FG/AG stud patterns became a thing.
However, what you likely never considered is how safe is an FG/AG stud pattern, especially when being used on artificial grass? Considering that the "FG/AG" branding came out of nowhere and the stud pattern with this label didn't seem to be much different from the "FG" stud patterns that they replaced, I question whether or not "FG/AG" is actually a true multi-surface stud pattern!
