Steaming is probably my favorite way to cook milkweed buds. I go over the basic process, and a couple different ways I might serve them. Milkweed is a hot topic, and I'm not even trying to cover all the different aspects of it, like sustainability, etc as I've covered that in longer articles on my site.

I'll link to some resources below to help answer other questions about the plant. Only Asclepias syriaca and other closely related species known to be used as a food should be used here.
