I assembled a tree lifter with my own hands a year ago, tried to carry out uprooting in the garden with my own hands after it had already grabbed the earth, and postponed the tests for this year. Unlike others, this Rooter has three advantages. The most simple design. It removes trees and bushes up to 12 centimeters thick in a couple of minutes. We do not leave holes after lifting. At all!
I showed how to make a tree grubber in the previous video. In this video, you will be doing a do-it-yourself test uprooting in the garden.
First, let's try to uproot trees and bushes with a rather thin amount. He bred behind the fence. Then we try to uproot the ash-leaved maple tree that grew in the middle of a wild rose bush with a grubber of trees and bushes. The task was set so that this cool homemade product would uproot only the maple without damaging the old bush. Then we will try to uproot two apple trees with a tree and bushes grubber, which this year got sick and began to dry. And at the end, we will carry out uprooting in the garden with our own hands cherry plum, which over time will interfere.
I got a cool homemade product that easily coped with the task.
In practice, I think my grubber will pull out any trunk up to 10 centimeters in diameter without assistance. For trees 12 centimeters thick, I recommend replacing the bolt that I have on a turnkey basis with 19, with a turnkey bolt for 24. And tilt the lever and weld 15 degrees lower than mine.
This will make it easier to use an extension cord.
The idea of ​​the grubber is not mine. I saw something like this on a foreign site.
On YouTube, I met similar grubbing from drum brake pads - they are made for small things. There are interesting lifters from rack and pinion jacks. There are hydraulic options, but for a summer resident or gardeners, this is already space. And in my opinion this is the simplest and most successful option for uprooting trees and bushes. Whether you need a grubber or not, it's up to you.
