On Episode 18 of BPerryFilms Podcast I and my guest, Robert Gabbay, will be talking about viruses. This topic isn't just about any random virus but the one that caused the major pandemic that hit us hard in 2019 called COVID-19. In this video, I wanted to bring Robert as a guest because he knows so much about viruses and how they impact the body, especially for people who are at high risk. PH.D Robert Gabbay works for the American Diabetes Association as Chief Scientific & Medical Officer.

For those of you who don’t know, diabetes is one of the most common viruses that people can get as they age. People can get it hereditary, due to poor diet, during pregnancy, and other methods. Keep in mind that if you are considered high-risk, COVID-19 could be hazardous for you. The goal of this video is to help you, the viewer, to understand a deep dive into what Diabetes is and how it can impact those who are high-risk. COVID-19 is a virus that mutates over time, affecting how people navigate through life with their health conditions. Finding tools and resources isn't hard, but speaking up and asking the appropriate questions for your needs are needed. Ask your doctor what the best recommendation is to fit your client’s health and diet.

After watching this video, please share some of the points you took away from this experience. Also, drop down some questions you may have about diabetes that you would like answered. PH.D. Gabbay offered to answer some of your questions. He also referred me to a link on the American Diabetes Association's Website for frequently asked questions.
