This is a complete DIY tutorial on AC Compressor replacement on a Lexus IS300,
having space is a necessity when it comes to removing a compressor, there are other alternatives, but this is the best way.

Warning:
Before performing any AC work, always wear protective gear, such as gloves and eye wear.
Please be sure to evacuate refrigerant from the system before attempting to replace an ac compressor/condenser/accumulator or any ac related lines and or parts. You could seriously hurt your self if you are not prepared and don’t know what you are doing.

Tools needed to complete job:
10mm socket
14mm socket
3/8 or 1/2” ratchet (both prefer)
Breaker bar or pipe
E10 torx socket
Pliers
