In this video you can drive along on the Autobahn A1 in the North of Germany from the city of Lübeck to Hamburg. No music for a change although I had to cut out a few parts because of dialogue and my comments on other drivers :)))

We drove this part of the A1 on an early Sunday morning on our way South. Until the bottleneck at Hamburg it was smooth sailing, but you gradually see the traffic increase the closer we get to Hamburg.

Hamburg is a big city with over a million inhabitants. Economically it's one of the most important cities in Germany and it has a large urban agglomeration. Its infrastructure however, is not as well built-out as it should be. Currently there are plans to extend the A25 Autobahn through the South of Hamburg and part of its harbor, including a massive bridge, creating a proper Southern ring road. If you take a look at the map you can see that a Northern ring road is missing as well.
