We reached a landmark moment in the improvement works to Scunthorpe General Hospital this weekend, as our new MRI scanner arrived on site.
The state-of-the-art equipment was delivered to the new-look unit yesterday (Sunday) and it won’t be long now before we’re able to welcome our first patients.
Director of Estates and Facilities, Jug Johal, said: “This was a really exciting development in the £4.6 million extension of our Scunthorpe MRI suite, which is a key aspect of our ongoing work to improve our buildings and facilities on the site.”
