This game was played on Tuesday July 17th, 2001 in the UMass Boston Gymnasium, as part of the 2001 Reebok Pro Summer League. (unfortunately the last few minutes of the game aren't available)

It was played 20 days after Kwame Brown was selected 1st overall in the 2001 NBA Draft by Michael Jordan. Jordan himself would unretire 2 months later and join the Wizards.

Aside from Kwame Brown, the most noteworthy player appearing in this game was the also just drafted Joe Johnson.

Former Celtic 1st round draft busts Joe Forte, Kedrick Brown & Jerome Moiso played in this game as well.
