The colourful Krishna Festival of Chariots takes place annually. Three chariots are pulled along Durban's iconic beachfront every Easter weekend symbolising the epic Jagannath Ratha Yatra journey which originated in the city of Jagannatha Puri in India.
People of all cultures are encouraged to pull the chariot to experience the vibrant colour, happiness and unity of the event.
