I recently decided to try using my 3rd Gen i5 Windows Pc as my editing rig even though my Linux Pc is much better. I have the windows 10 Pc connected to a 42 Inch Lg Led Tv but still had a need for a second monitor..I did some research online and found a free app that I could use to make my old ipad work as a second monitor..The app is called XDisplay and it works quite well..I think it's also available for android devices but I haven't tried it as my only android device is one i use often and don't want fill it up with apps..Besides my Ipad mini is more than good enough for this purpose.
