Torņakalns is a district, located close to the Riga city centre, and it will significantly change, as Rail Baltica (a new high-speed railway that will connect all 3 Baltic countries with European railway network) moves forward. Tornakalns station will look completely different, as passenger platforms will be moved closer to Daugava river - it will be a multi-modal hub of Riga transport network, providing access to lots of public transport routes and cycling paths.
