This is an interesting phenomenon I started observing in the past year or so. Especially, having realized that Logan Sargeant has not got a lot left in his career, I went ahead and took a closer look at what has happened to F1 rookies from the past few seasons.

And what I realized was pretty astonoshing - it turns out that on average only one of 3 rookies has been able to secure a longer-term contract within the sport in the past 10 years or so.
