More of a representation than a reality of Iskandarani the Melaya Leff dance is a lively dance characterized by a long black shawl, pom-pom head scarf, and heels. In this video, you do not see our dancers in that particular signature element but we do hope you enjoy their process in dancing the flirtatious dance.

Dancing in a group is a great way to establish deep social bonds. Creating harmony in a group dynamic is not easy but goes hand in hand with other important disciplines practiced while dancing. The Los Angeles Bellydance Academy dancers are representing bellydance at it's best. They are all beautifully unique, passionate and disciplined dancers who are engaging weekly in our dance program.
