In September of 2020, after not having seen my family for almost a year, I travelled to Europe for a short holiday to spend quality time with my family. Of course, having taken all necessary precautions, including a covid test, I flew to Europe without much trouble.

On my way back home to Canada, that was different. Canada has a very strict policy on entry, and with the quarantine act, everyone who enters Canada will have to quarantine or "self-isolate" for 14 days. And that is exactly what I did.
